SYMPTOMS
- Empower Inventory Viewer (EIV) shows information only from the node where the Data Collector was run
- All other Nodes show Node Name, Node Status, and Last Scanned
ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE
Incorrect EIV Data Collector configuration setting. A local path (e.g., C:\EIV_DATA) is specified in the Output file folder field instead of a UNC share path (e.g., \\servername\sharename).
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Update the EIV Data Collector configuration to use a UNC share path in the Output file folder field.
