SYMPTOMS
- Cannot communicate with ACQUITY system in Empower
- Console does not populate information regarding system modules
- Instruments scan OK? NO on the node properties instrument tab
- Cannot ping the instrument LAN card successfully at 192.168.0.1
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower
- ACQUITY UPLC
- Ethernet instruments
CAUSE
The instrument LAN card is set to disabled.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Enable the instrument LAN card and confirm communication by pinging it.
- Re-scan the instruments on the node properties instrument tab and they will appear as OK? YES.
