USP signal-to-noise ratio is not calculated in Empower - WKB48599

SYMPTOMS

• Empower USP signal-to-noise is not calculated
• "Calculate USP, EP, and JP s/n" is selected on the Suitability tab
• "Use noise centered on peak region in blank injection" is not selected on the Suitability tab
• ALL or USP is selected for Pharmacopeia. 
• "Peak Code S51: USP S/N cannot calculate because peak to peak noise is either zero or blank"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

On the Noise and Drift tab, the difference between Start Time and Stop Time must be 30 points or greater. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Increase the noise and drift time range to 30 points or greater and reprocess.
