How to lock projects and sub-projects in Empower - WKB465

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

To lock projects or sub-projects in Empower.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Empower 2

PROCEDURE

1. Open the Configuration Manager.
2. To lock a Parent project:
   1. Select the Projects entry under "Empower 3 Configuration".
   2. In the table, right-click the project and choose Lock Project > Read Only Lock, Process Only Lock, or Full Lock.
3. To lock a child project:
   1. Expand the Projects folder to the left under the folder tree.
   2. Select the Parent project.
   3. In the table, right-click the child project and choose Lock Project > Read Only Lock, Process Only Lock, or Full Lock.
