Same Project has more Project Integrity errors when restored in Empower 2 Feature Release 5 verses Empower 3 Feature Release 2 - WKB4621

SYMPTOMS

• Project is restored in Empower 2 Feature Release 5 with a certain amount of Project Integrity Errors
• Same project is restored in Empower 3 Feature Release 2 with less Project Integrity Errors

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 2 (2154) Feature Release 5 (FR5) Enterprise
• Empower 3 (3471) Feature Release 2 (FR2) Enterprise

CAUSE

In releases prior to Empower 3 FR2, the project integrity check only checked for 30 characters in the channel name. It flagged anything above 30 as an error. In Empower 3 FR2 and above, the 30 character limit went away because the channel name can contain 250 characters.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Restore all projects to Empower 3 Feature Release 2 or later.
