OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Activate the gradient functionality for Shimadzu system with LC-20AT pump configured with optional LPGE (low-pressure gradient unit).
ENVIRONMENT
- Shimadzu driver v4.02
- Empower 3 FR3
PROCEDURE
- Access the Shimadzu Instrument configuration wizard.
- Select the correct IP address for CBM-20A/Lite and go to the second page.
- Specify properties button for the LC-20AT pump.
- Select LPGE Unit from drop-down menu for Solenoid valve.
- Complete wizard steps.
- Log in to Empower and edit the instrument method to use the gradient function instead of the default isocratic mode.
