OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Create a calibration curve that uses the average amount for the standards injected after the sample set has been acquired.

PROCEDURE

1. Take sample set to Alter Sample.
2. Give each standard a level. If there are multiple injections/lines for the same standard concentration, make sure each has the same level number specified so that it is averaged correctly. For example, all standards that have "level 1" specified in this column will be averaged together in the following steps.
3. Save and close Alter Sample. 
4. Take the sample set into Review and open the processing method/method set.
5. Go to the processing method window and select the components tab.
6. In the top section, for the Average By option, select Level from the drop-down list.
7. Integrate and calibrate/quantitate the sample set. 
8. The averaged standard value will appear in the calibration window.
