SYMPTOMS

• One user cannot open Run Samples in Empower 3
• Run Samples tries to open, but hangs while trying to load information from the database

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise

CAUSE

One Empower user's preferences stop working.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Use Copy Preferences in Configuration Manager to copy preferences from a known "good" user and project to the problem user and project.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Associated symptom when trying to start a run, the following message hangs - "Initializing Run Samples".
