Result saved multiple times for extracted PDA channel - WKB285323

SYMPTOMS

• Processed and data saved from the Review screen
• Results saved multiple times for single channel
• On Results tab, adding Channel Name column shows names as wavelenghth.nm/wavelenghth.nm@1/wavelenghth.nm@2 etc. for the same channel ID:

• Manual processing by selecting channel or injection
• Channel extracted from PDA and processed 

CAUSE

When extracting the chromatogram at a particular wavelength, the user accidently pressed extract multiple times, so the same channel was extracted multiple times and stored on the 2D channels tab:

When the user uses the save all option to save the data, all the results are saved for the same channel. Also, during processing method creation, if the user used channel names to mark the components in the processing method and then, for other than the channel name mentioned in processing method, remaining saved results with channel names as @1/@2 etc will not have components identified. This is expected behavior.

Below is a reference screenshot from a processing method where component names are set up with channel name.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Check the 2D channels tab on the review screen before saving the data, and remove any unwanted extracted channels.
