SYMPTOMS

• A sample line altered via "Alter Sample" shows as NO in the Empower Sample set method group report "Altered" column

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR4 and higher

CAUSE

The changes made to a sample set while editing in the Alter Sample window are not stored in the sample set method linked to the sample set. They are stored in the sample set itself. The altered column in the sample set is not part of the sample set method.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. CRI-6633 was created to remove the Altered column from the sample set method group.
2. If altered sample changes must be verified, in the report, use the sample set table instead of the sample set method group. The default sample set table available in the sample set method group report (with an altered column) can be disabled from the properties of the report.
3. The altered sample changes can also be verified by comparing the differences between the sample set method versions.
