The channel name from the method set is different than the instrument method using Beckman CE , LIF detector, and Empower - WKB26689

SYMPTOMS

• When Voltage Current LIF Channels 1 and 2 are collected, you can see the channels and review the chromatograms, but when you derive a channel in Method Set  you cannot derive LIF channel or select it from the table  
• Can see only PDA 254 and PDA 214, although the method does not monitor these channels
• The LIF channels are not available to select from or derive, so when processing, unwanted results, such as Current, Voltage, and LIF Channel 2, are produced

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 3 Hotfix 1
• Beckman Coulter PACE MDQ 1.2.1.0 driver with LIF detector

CAUSE

Defect PCS-56179: "Method set shows different channels than instrument method"

FIX or WORKAROUND

Workaround 

1. Manually type the channel name in the method set editor.
2. The drop-down list also allows typing the channel name.
