2489 detector with Empower records only partial run - WKB25731

SYMPTOMS

• Empower records only the first few minutes of run or only partial data 
• Unexpected change in data rate noticed during a chromatographic run if network communications with the computer are temporarily lost
• The data rate change affects the time axis to match total run time in Empower
• Visible shift of chromatographic peaks

CAUSE

Defect (PCS 26127) with firmware (revision 1.40) 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Upgrade firmware to revision 1.41
