Regarding appropriate infrastructure for the deployment of Empower Enterprise Software, Waters officially tests and supports the application using the VMWare ESXi Hypervisor. Waters recognizes there are several alternative hypervisors available today. The hypervisor is a very low level component with limited impact on the function of the guest operating systems and hosted applications. The deployment of Empower Software on an alternative hypervisor is considered low risk. Waters has worked with many customers over the years who have successfully implemented Empower Enterprise Software on alternative hypervisors such as Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix solutions, and others. Waters provides best effort support for the application under these configurations. However, the customer must understand and assume the risk of deploying the application in an untested environment. Waters reserves the right to limit support and/or decline to provide software updates in the unlikely event that an issue is introduced by or related to the use of any untested configuration.
