SYMPTOMS

• Unable to process the sample set
• The following error message appears in the message center while processing the sample set:

     "Cannot continue background processing a sample set because sample set XXXX has one or more channels that are still being acquired."

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

DCOM settings are incorrect.

Microsoft hardening patches are installed

FIX or WORKAROUND

Apply the DCOM settings as described in the installation and configuration guide.
