How does Empower perform a single-level calibration when linear or linear through zero are selected? - WKB239884

Article number: 239884

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower
  • Calibration
  • Single-point calibration
  • Linear
  • Linear through zero

ANSWER

A single-level calibration is always performed as linear through zero. Therefore, it does not matter whether linear or linear through zero is selected in the processing method.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The equation and intercept can be verified for the result produced with Linear or Linear through zero. The equation used is Linear through zero for both. Linear through zero is defined by the equation y = Bx (see Calculating Amount/Concentration - WKB232914 - Waters).
