Options tab is missing from the GC instrument method for ICF SL 3.6 in Empower - WKB233485

SYMPTOMS

• The options tab is missing from the GC instrument method in LAC/E as well as clients, including the Citrix client
• Options tab is missing from the new instrument method as well as the instrument method created on the previous ICF SL version

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent Instrument Control Framework (ICF SL v3.6)
• Empower 3 Enterprise (including Citrix environment)

CAUSE

A dual-tower batch file script (Drive:\UtilityScripts\DualTower\Enable_Dual_Tower.bat) is installed on the LAC/E, client or on the Citrix server. - (Drive - ICF iso File)

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Run the Disable dual tower batch file script available in the Utility folder. (Drive:\UtilityScripts\DualTower\Disable_Dual_Tower.bat)
2. CRI-4629 was created for this issue.
3. For a dual-tower GC in a Citrix environment, it is recommended that you run the system directly on the acquisition client with the "Enable_Dual_Tower.bat" script installed on the LAC/E. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Using ICF SL 3.6.1, the option tab in the Instrument method for an Agilent GC system is available whether or not Dual tower functionality is being used.
