OBJECTIVE or GOAL

With a Waters embedded license, manage the Oracle listener and alert logs. (If the logs grow too large, performance issues can occur.)

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower below 3.8.0
• Oracle
• Alert log
• Listener log

PROCEDURE

1. Set up the attached batch file for your environment.
2. Run the batch file manually when you get notifications from WDM, or set it as a scheduled task to run regularly.
3. Set the following four parameters in the batch file.
