OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Lock a method.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

PROCEDURE

1. Open the "Method" tab in the Project window.
2. Right-click the relevant instrument method and select Method Properties.
3. To lock the method, click "Lock" in the Method Properties window and click OK. (To unlock, click "Unlock" in the Method Properties window and click OK.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Note: For any reason lock and unlock is grayed out, we may have to restart the server if the session is been locked at the database level(contact Waters before you attempt)
