Cannot restore project; ORA error 01449 pertaining to null values appears - WKB22534

SYMPTOMS

• Attempting to restore a project backup from Empower 2 into Empower 3
• "ORA 01449 Column Contains NULL Values, Cannot Alter to NOT NULL"
• Project restoration fails

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 2
• Empower 3

CAUSE

The project in Empower 2 contains several injections with no values for their Vial ID (Null values).

FIX or WORKAROUND

Restore the project back into Empower 2 and search through the injections tab to locate the injections with null values. When these are located, you must delete them from the project. Then you can back up the project and restore it into Empower 3.
