SYMPTOMS

• The shape of the PDA spectrum displayed during 3D data integration is different from the usual one, and it swings significantly negatively
• If you check the spectrum of the peak top time in the spectrum extraction box, the shape is as usual
• If you clear the "Baseline correction" check box on the spectrum table, the spectrum is as usual

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Immediately behind the target, there was elution of a component with large absorption, and the distance to the target was closer than usual.

Therefore, baseline correction had a strong effect.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change the method to improve peak separation by reducing dead volumes or by changing columns or analysis conditions.
