GPC option is enabled in all projects, including non-GPC projects - WKB21162

SYMPTOMS

• After the GPC license was installed, more than 2000 non-GPC projects have the GPC option enabled in Project Properties
• Cannot disable the option for the projects without manually clearing it in Project Properties
• There is no audit trail entry logged when the GPC license activation enables the GPC option for random projects whether they are locked or unlocked projects.

Abstract / Summary of Defect: 

Activation of an option (such as GPC or Dissolution) does not change any project properties for existing projects without asking the user. Also reported as 53909.

CRI-601 Fixed in Empower 3.8.0:
INFEMP-6984 (CRI-601)
Previously, when you restored a backed up project, all available project options became enabled
in the restored project, including options not previously enabled in the project.
Now, this issue is fixed.
