SYMPTOMS

  • Error "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed" appears during login to Empower 

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3 Client/Enterprise

CAUSE

Disconnect between LAC/E and domain in Windows

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Log in as a Domain Administrator.
  2. Remove the LAC/E box from the domain.
  3. Reboot the LAC/E.
  4. Log in again as the Domain Admin.
  5. Add the LAC/E back to the domain.
