Empower 3 error: Failed to start application - Report Publisher - WKB205359

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot launch Preview Publisher when trying to print from Empower
• Error "Failed to start application - Report Publisher"
• Happens only on one client
• Report Publisher starts fine on other clients and LAC/Es

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Empower Enterprise

CAUSE

Report Publisher.exe is missing from the Client in question.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Log in to a different client and find the Report Publisher.exe file (C:\Empower\Bin).
2. Copy the Report Publisher.exe file and paste it in the same location on the Client in question.
