Project created without audit trail - WKB203091

SYMPTOMS

• No audit trail after project creation

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

If the process is interrupted when creating, cloning, or restoring a project due to intermittent network issues, the project cannot be used. The project will be locked, and no audit trail is generated.

There may be some cases, projects can be used even though project creation audit trails entry is not available. It is not recommended to use the project since there is a chance of project directory is pointing to another project and this can cause data loss. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Please contact Waters and check if the project folder is linked with the existing folder. After checking the project folder links for failed project only project need to be deleted as deleting this folder may remove existing data linked with another project.
