What is the difference between Sample Set ID and Sample Set ID (Result)? - WKB200675

Article number: 200675

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3

ANSWER

The Sample Set ID is the identification given to the sample set when it was acquired, and the Sample Set ID (Result) is the identification of the sample set that was processed to produce the result set. After the result set is created, if you alter the sample set by renaming it or editing one of its sample set custom fields, the sample set receives a new id and the id in the sample set no longer matches the Sample Set ID (Result). In the result set table, the Sample Set ID (Result) matches the original Sample Set ID and the current Sample Set ID is different.
