SYMPTOMS

• No result is produced, regardless of how the sample is processed
• Error observed in Empower message center: ORA-01426, Numeric Overflow

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR3
• Processing method has a peak width of 1 second or less

CAUSE

Unknown; a defect (PCS# 38126) has been opened.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Set a peak width in the processing method that is greater than 1.
