The time in Empower is incorrect - WKB16998

SYMPTOMS

• The Empower time is off by 3 hours
• The Windows time is correct
• The Empower time zone is correct

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Although the time zone in Empower is correct and the time displayed in Windows is correct, the time zone for Windows is not correct.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change the time zone in Windows to be the same as that in Empower.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In Windows, you can change the time zone and you can manually enter the current time. Therefore, the time zone can be incorrect but the time displayed can still be accurate.
