SYMPTOMS

• Acquisition run time in Empower stops before each injection is complete with 7890B GC and 7697A Headspace
• The sample set proceeds to the next injection with no error messages or failures 
• The channels associated with the injections have data
• GC oven time matches the cycle time of the headspace
• Run Time in Sample set matches method

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 3
• 7890B GC
• 7697A Headspace
• GC driver 2.6
• Headspace Control Option 3.0

CAUSE

There is a defect for this behavior: PCS 55142.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. None. Resolution fixed in ICF v3.0 driver.
