SYMPTOMS

• Configuring Backup Policy in Waters Database Manager (WDM) in Empower generates the error "ORA-27369: job of type EXECUTABLE failed with exit code:"

• Configuring Backup Policy in Waters Database Manager (WDM) in Empower generates the error ORA-27369: job of type EXECUTABLE failed with exit code: The system cannot find the drive specified.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR4
• UNIFI Workstation
• UNIFI Network
• waters_connect

CAUSE

The oraclejobs OS user is not in the Backup Operators group.

The local group "Backup Operators" is not present in the "Log on as batch job" local security policy setting.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Add the oraclejobs user to the Backup Operators group.
2. Modify the Local Security Policy "Log on as batch job" to include the local group "Backup Operators" or explicitly list the oraclejobs user.
