How to edit a Processing Method so your peaks are labeled correctly - WKB1494

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

• When applying a processing method to a sample set, the components listed in the processing method are not labeled at the correct retention times.

PROCEDURE

1. Bring the sample set (or injections or channels, depending how results are generated) into Review.
2. Open the processing method.
3. Integrate.
4. Calibrate or quantitate (depending if it is a Standard or Sample).
5. If the peaks are not labeled correctly, open the processing method.
6. On the Components tab, change the RT values to the time where the peaks are actually integrated.
7. Save the processing method.
8. Process samples using the saved processing method.
