2424 communication fails when installed with ACQUITY Arc - WKB14754

SYMPTOMS

• When system with 2424 is accessed in Run Samples, Control Panel freezes for various components (see below)

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise, English
• Installed on LAC/E
• DP 2017 R1
• Installed with ACQUITY QSM-R, ACQUITY FTN-R

CAUSE

Installation folder directory is incorrect.  (SCR# 35552)

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Change Region and Language to English-US.
2. Change directory path from C:\Empower\Instruments\HTML\W2424\en to C:\Empower\Instruments\HTML\W2424\~en
