System shows negative pressure readings from Citrix session - WKB1466
SYMPTOMS
- Two Citrix client computers and two Citrix servers
- On server 1 connected to H-Class, pressure reading is -16 psi
- On server 2 connected to the same H-Class, pressure reading is +16 psi
- When logged in via LAC/E, pressure reading is as expected
- Reinstallation of driver (DP4) on Citrix does not resolve
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower
- Citrix
- ACQUITY
- Driver Pack 4
CAUSE
The negative pressure issue has been identified under PCS#30671 when DP4 is installed. This is a flaw in the Pressure Factor property logic that allows the default of -1 to be returned if it had never been previously set in the registry.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Fixed in DP4 SR1 and Driver Pack 2016 Release 1.
PCS#30671 was resolved in Driver Pack 4 Supplemental Release 1 and Driver Pack 2016 Release 1 but not documented in the Release Notes for DP4 SR1 and DP 2016 Release 1.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If a customer is not able to update to the Driver Pack where this issue has been resolved, they can correct this manually by accessing the ACQUITY Console and setting the correct pressure unit.
