SYMPTOMS

• Error message seen in Empower Message Center: "Ignored existing but unknown elements in the downloaded method. The method might be created with driver version newer than A.02.06 SI 363.05"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 2
• Empower 3
• Agilent ICF Support v2.2

CAUSE

The versions of Agilent Instrument Control Framework and Agilent Instrument Framework - LC Drivers are newer on the Empower client than on the node where the instrument is installed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. On the node where the instrument is installed, update the Agilent ICF Support, Agilent Instrument Control Framework, and Agilent Instrument Control Framework - LC Drivers packages.
