SYMPTOMS

• ACQUITY UPLC FLR Detector is not communicating in Empower
• ACQUITY UPLC FLR populates in DHCP
• Can ping IP Address of ACQUITY UPLC FLR Detector 
• ACQUITY UPLC FLR Detector shows up as Yes in Node Properties
• ACQUITY UPLC FLR Detector control panel is blank in the Run Samples window

CAUSE

Antivirus is blocking communication.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Temporarily disable antivirus and reboot the detector and computer.
2. In the Run Samples window, verify that the detector is communicating properly.
3. Turn antivirus back on and set the antivirus exclusions per WKB16341.
