SYMPTOMS
- Agilent 1260 instrument failure when making an injection in Empower
- Setup Instrument Method: Pump starts but all other modules do not
- Nothing has changed with the system configuration after the PM
- Can ping the instrument
- Rebooting the instrument and PC does not fix the issue
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3
- Agilent 1260
- ICF 3.x
CAUSE
The temperature mode is not set properly.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- In the Run Samples window, right-click on the autosampler and select Modify >Temperature Mode.
- Select "Variable temperature mode (method parameter)".
