Date Acquired is later than Date Processed in Empower - WKB12241

SYMPTOMS

• When reviewing the Date Acquired and Date Processed columns in the Results table, the Date Acquired is later than the Date Processed

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Service Release 2 (SR2)
• e-SAT/IN Module

CAUSE

At the time the result was generated, the injection had not been made yet (no chromatogram).

1. SS in progress acquiring data from an e-SAT/IN.
2. Last injection, e-SAT/IN is at the "Waiting for Injection" state in Run Samples (line created in the Injections table).
3. While in this state, the same SS is processed and a RS is generated. Result for the last injection is created, although the result shows no chromatogram or peaks in the Peaks table (no data).
4. Last injection is then made and the SS completes. Date Acquired is updated.
5. Review the last result generated in step 3. The Date Acquired is later than the Date Processed, and now the chromatogram appears, but there are still no peaks in the Peaks table.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Ensure that all lines in a Sample Set are executed (collected) when using an e-SAT/IN module. Lines that are not executed will sit queued indefinitely until they are acquired, or aborted by the user.
