How to configure Empower to access the extra 10-vial plate for Agilent G4226A - WKB12195

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

• Inject from the extra 10-vial plate on the Agilent G4226A autosampler.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Agilent Autosampler G4226A
• Agilent Multisampler G7167B
• Agilent ICF Support  version 2.2 and above

PROCEDURE

1. In Configuration Manager, select Plate Types, right-click on the table, and select Import from Text.
2. Browse to the vialbar.txt file on the Agilent ICF media (under \AgilentPlatesForImport\Empower 3\En-US).
3. When using the plate, assign it as plate 0 (zero). When assigning usage of the plate, the syntax of the plate is 0:1 to 0:10.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING FOR MULTISAMPLER G7167B

This procedure also applies for set up of extra 5  vial plate  for  Multisampler G7167B but in this case the direction is Vertical Discontinuous
