Data channel status shows as data incomplete yet the chromatogram is viewable - WKB114393

SYMPTOMS

• Channel status shows as data incomplete, whereas injection status is complete
• User can view the data without performing verified incomplete data action
• Channel recovered from a buffering state

ENVIRONMENT

•  Empower 3 FR4 SR3 and Above

CAUSE

This behavior is considered a deviation from expected behavior and is documented as CRI-2484, CRI-2679.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Fixed in Empower FR4 SR3 HF3, FR5 HF1, FR5 SR4 HF1, FR5 SR5 HF2 and 3.6.1.

The following is the expected behavior when you are using an Empower version in which this issue is resolved: if a Channel Status is Data Incomplete, the acquisition data is not available, but the Verify Incomplete Data option is available and, after the channel is verified as complete, the status changes to Verified as Complete and the action is recorded in the Project Audit Trail.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This issue is addressed in Empower 3 FR5 HF1, Empower 3 SR5 HF2, and Empower 3.6.1.

There are few cases reported as even after applying HF mentioned above, still some times channel status is showing as incomplete but data is visible completely as per run time. This behaviour is recorded as CRI-6155. As data is visible as per run time there is no impact to data or system. Customer can perform verify incomplete data and use the data for further processing.
