AgilentPluginServer.exe crash on Agilent LC and GC - WKB109081

SYMPTOMS

• Windows Application Event log reports Application Error with AgilentPluginServer.exe as faulting application
• Windows Application Event log reports Application Error with .NET Runtime Event with AgilentPluginServer.exe Experiencing Unhandled exception
• Injection stops in between the run

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 2, Service Release, Hotfix 2
• ICF 3.3
• Windows 7
• Agilent 1260 Infinity
• Agilent 7890 GC
• Agilent 7697A Headspace
• Agilent 6890 GC
• Agilent 6850 GC

CAUSE

CRI-2157 has been raised. This an issue with ICF layer. Agilent defect : 291700 is fixed in Agilent ICF 3.0, which is part of our ICF support layer v3.4 build.

FIX or WORKAROUND

No viable work around. Permanent solution is to update to ICF 3.4 or Higher versions.
