OBJECTIVE or GOAL

• Process sampleset data leaving the non-detector data such as pressure data into the result

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• 2D data is being acquired and usually the sample set is processed by specifying a processing method.

PROCEDURE

1. In the "Method" tab of the Browse Project screen, double-click the method set specified for the sample set run.

2. Select the detector channel name from the pull-down in the first row of the "Channel Name" column on the Method Set Editor screen, and select the processing method in the "Processing Method" column from the same row.

3. Select "File" menu> Save to save the method set

4. In the Browse Project window, right-click the sample set and select Process.

5. Select "Use acquisition method set" and click "OK"

With the above steps, only the detector channel specified in the method set will be processed, leaving no non-detector data (such as pressure channels) in the result set.
