- ALS error code 551
- 29: GC refused to do an injection
ENVIRONMENT
- Agilent Instrument Control Framework v3.0 and above
- Agilent 7890 GC
- Agilent 6890 GC
- Agilent 6850 GC
CAUSE
This error is issued whenever an ALS device does not respond to a data communication command. For a 7890, this includes the G3430 controller board.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Restart the GC.
- Ensure that the ALS tower shows ready in GREEN.
