"Missing inject command" error message when trying to run samples in Empower with a CAD detector - WKB10233

SYMPTOMS

• "Missing inject command" error when trying to start a sequence in run samples 
• Agilent 1200 and CAD detector both OK on the instruments tab of node properties
• Can control both the Agilent 1200 and the CAD detector through Empower 
• Can set up and monitor a baseline with the CAD detector 

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Agilent 1200
• Corona Veo Charged Aerosol Detector (CAD) 

CAUSE

An inject command is missing in the instrument method of the CAD detector.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Add an injection command in the instrument method of the CAD detector.
2. Run as normal.
