Numeric custom fields return zero values - WKB101615

SYMPTOMS

• Customer has two numeric custom fields:  A_Stdcurv_018 and B_Stdcurv_018
• A_Stdcurv_018 = Peak type, Real; default value = 0.0000004653
• B_Stdcurv_018 = Peak type, Real; default value = 0.008556
• Another custom field uses these values: Konc_mg_ml_018
• All return zero values when "Run and process" is used
• Subsequent processing returns expected values

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• Windows
• Regional settings

CAUSE

Incorrect regional settings for the welcome screen (System Account). "Run and process" uses the SYSTEM account. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Ensure that the correct regional settings and decimal separator are set for the current user, the Welcome screen (System accounts), and New users.
