SYMPTOMS

• Error when locking or unlocking a method: This <Method Name> is currently being edited by . . .

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR5 and higher

CAUSE

The Save Instrument Methods privilege for that method is missing.

In order to Lock or Unlock a method, the “Save” privilege for that particular method type is also required.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. With only the Lock Methods / Unlock Method privilege, a message similar to the following may appear:
