SYMPTOMS

• GPC items such as Narrow Standard cannot be selected in the Function column of the Sample Set table
• On the Component Editor screen, there is no field in which to enter the molecular weight of the standard

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• GPC/SEC option

CAUSE

The GPC option function is not enabled in the project you are working with.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Enable the GPC option function of the project you are working with by following the procedures in How to enable options for an Empower project.
