ANSWER

Ostro uses a simple pass-through technique. It is designed to capture phospholipids and proteins from plasma samples. It comes only in a 96-well format. Oasis MCX is a mixed-mode exchanger using both strong ion exchange and reverse phase in one sorbent. MCX is designed specifically for improved retention of cations. Oasis HLB and Oasis MCX in that they contain only the reverse-phase component in the sorbent.
