This adaptor looks like this:

Connect a luer tip (luer slip) syringe (not a luer-lock syringe) to this adaptor to then create positive air pressure to push sample through cartridge.

To use adapter:

• Rotate adaptor upside down, so that smallest diameter is facing down.
• Insert adaptor into a 1 cc, 3 cc or 6 cc SPE Vac Cartridge.
• Pull plunger up on an empty luer tip syringe.
• Plug syringe into top of adaptor.
• Push plunger down slowly, to create positive pressure.
• Ensure that load step and elution steps flow out in discreet droplets (not too quickly) or you can loose recovery.
