If the analyte retains by normal phase, elution solvents such as hexane, THF, IPA, and methanol might be used.

If the analyte retains by HILIC mode retention, elution solvents such as 75:25 acetonitrile/H₂O, methanol, and water might be used.

If the analyte retains by weak anion exchange, it may elute off in water with pH adjustment up to 8 using ammonium acetate, phosphate buffer, or 0.1% TEA.
