PROCEDURE

1. Place the part you want to clean in a appropriately sized beaker.
2. Pour MS cleaning solution (186006846) into the beaker until the item is covered.
3. Sonicate* for 20-30 minutes.
4. Dump out the MS cleaning solution into an appropriate waste container.
5. Rinse the item with water until all suds are gone.
6. Sonicate in high-quality water for 10 minutes.
7. Dump out the water and replace it with high-quality isopropanol or methanol.
8. Sonicate for 20-30 minutes.
9. Dry the item with an oil-free nitrogen supply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

*If the ultrasonic bath has a heating function it is recommended to heat the cleaning solution while sonicating. Heating 60 to 70°C improves the efficiency of cleaning. Do not use the ultrasonic bath heating function when using isopropanol or methanol (Fire hazard)!
