EVAPORATION INFORMATION—Pre-slit vs. Non-slit

Using 100% acetone at 20 °C results in about 0.2% evaporation over three days with a non-slit cap and 2.2% with a pre-slit cap. The evaporation after two hours is negligible. Chlorinated solvents will be much higher, but we don’t have data. This rises to 1.5% and 3.2% respectively when the septum is pierced.
